Chloe O'Brian resorts to extreme measures in a bid to get CTU back up and running from the EMP blast. Jack Bauer, Cole Ortiz and two other CTU agents track down the terrorists but find themselves pinned down, unable to call for backup. Bill Prady continues to press the issue of Kevin Wade, leading Dana Walsh to take extreme actions of her own.

This episode is in third place for the longest final split screen ever at 33 seconds (behind Day 1 7:00pm-8:00pm at 36 seconds and Redemption at 51 seconds).

This episode marks the first and only time that Jack Bauer has killed someone between 4:00am and 5:00am. In the first seven seasons, 4:00am - 5:00am was the only hour of the day in which Jack had not killed anyone.

This is the second time in a thirteenth episode of a season where Chloe O'Brian manages to resolve a system malfunction and gets the CTU systems back online. The first time was in Day 3.
