Kiefer Sutherland and Cherry Jones have each received nominations for this year’s Emmy’s.
Sutherland is up for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his role in 24: Redemption. Cherry Jones has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama series for her portrayal of President Taylor in Season 7.
It is a particularly disappointing year for Emmy nominations by 24’s standards. It is the first year since the show began that Kiefer Sutherland has not been amongst the contenders for Best Actor in a Drama series.
