Filling the Void

June 13th, 2007

So, another season of 24 is over. Don’t know what to do? Well, here’s some ideas to help fill the gap until January 2008, or at least until the DVD release of season 6!

24 DVD Box Sets - Seasons 1-5

Apart from being able to watch the series all the way through again, they are stacked full of special features including audio commentaries, deleted scenes, behind the scenes footage and interviews.

24 DVD box sets

24: Behind The Scenes Book

An excellent book containing previously unseen photos of the cast and crew taken on-set. The images are accompanied by notes which give you an insight into what was going on at the time. The book also comes with a DVD, in which Jon Cassar and others give further insight. A real must for any 24 fan, and chances are as you are reading this that you fall under that category!

24: The Official Companions - Seasons 1 & 2 + Seasons 3 & 4

Two great books, one detailing seasons 1 & 2, the other - seasons 3 & 4. Contains brief summaries on each episode - telling you what's going on at what time, accompanied by interviews, quotes and images.

24 Companions

24: Official Magazine

Monthly magazine bringing you the latest news and interviews with cast and crew members.

CTU T-Shirt

Parade the streets wearing this baby and put worried looks on bad guys faces as you pass by. Do try to refrain from taking some poor soul to one side and saying “WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR?” Ok, maybe just one…

24: The Game

Set between seasons two and three of the show, you take control of your on-screen heroes and guide them through another hectic 24-hours.

24: Official Soundtracks by Sean Callery

Collection of musical pieces and scores by Emmy-winning composer Sean Callery. The first CD (left) covers seasons 1-3, the latest release (right) covers seasons 4 and 5.

24 Soundtracks

So, can you literally say “been there, done that, got the t-shirt”? If you can, you really are a 24 nut. Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

Whether you have these things or not, never fear. Starting Monday, I'll be running a regular feature detailing some of my favourite and most shocking moments of the show.
