Sci-fi actors in 24

James Morrison, who plays Bill Buchanan, starred as Lt. Col. Tyrus Cassius McQueen in the 95-96 TV series’ Space: Above and Beyond. Morrison has also appeared in an episode of The X-Files.

D.B. Woodside, 24’s Wayne Palmer, played Principal Robin Wood in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

William Devane played President Henry Hayes in Stargate SG-1, known for his role in 24 as the father of Audrey Raines, James Heller.

Another actor to appear in Stargate is Robert Carlyle in the new Stargate Universe series. Carlyle was Jack's old friend Carl Benton in 24: Redemption.

Gregory Itzin has portrayed three different Star Trek characters; Ilon Tandro in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Captain Sopek and Admiral Black in Star Trek: Enterprise. Itzin is of course known to 24 fans as the unforgettable Charles Logan.

The man at the top of the list, Roger R. Cross, has also appeared in four episodes of The X-Files as different characters.

Perhaps most notably, Zachary Quinto (Adam Kaufman) plays a young version of Leonard Nimoy’s famous Spock character in the new Star Trek film.

Season 6 terrorist Abu Fayed, played by Adoni Moropis, had a role as Hassan in the 1999 video game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, which featured live-action cut-scenes.

And, of course, season 5 villain Christopher Henderson played by Peter Weller was RoboCop in 1987.
