In a Nutshell

1. 24 Heaven will not post revealing information about yet-to-air seasons or episodes.

2. Just because we aim to prevent you from coming across spoilers against your will, it doesn’t mean that what could be considered spoiler material to you isn’t present within the site. The above guidelines must be adhered to in order for you to successfully dodge anything that you don’t want to know.

3. Any potentially sensitive material will be accompanied with a warning.

Our policy on spoiler prevention

24 Heaven appreciates the fact that not everyone would like to know about plots and storylines in advance – whether it be episodes that have yet to be broadcast or episodes that have aired long ago but have not yet been watched by the viewer.

We here at 24 Heaven sit on the side of the fence that consists of the people trying to avoid spoilers at all costs. The very fact that we don’t go seeking spoilers ourselves means that you won’t find us positing them on the website.

The twists and surprises of 24 are what makes the show what it is and we wouldn’t want to spoil that for ourselves or anyone else.

As much as people love the show, want to discuss it and find out information about it, a lot of people can be reluctant to search for 24 on the internet through fear of coming across spoiler material.

To some people the word ‘spoiler’ brings great excitement, but for others it fills them with dread.

Listed below are some defintions of terms that will help you to gain a better understanding of the section-by-section guide located further down the page:

Definitions:

Spoiler: A spoiler is something that gives away information about future episodes that have not yet been aired. However, 24 Heaven does not just define a spoiler as revealing information about yet-to-air plots and storylines, as we recognise that not everybody has seen every episode of 24 to date; and as a result, information about episodes that have been aired can also be considered spoilers if that person has not yet seen it. Some people may be one or more seasons behind or even just starting out having bought or borrowed the season 1 DVD box set. Therefore, coming across storyline / plot information about a season or episode that someone has not yet seen has the potential to ruin the surprise element for that person. As a result, 24 Heaven has put in place measures to prevent such things from happening, whilst catering for those that are fully-up-to-date with the show. This also means that this website is suitable for those who are unfazed by coming across spoilers, but those who come looking specifically for spoilers for yet-to-be aired episodes will be disappointed, as 24 Heaven simply will not post over-insightful information about unaired episodes.

Up-to-date: This refers to someone who has watched 24 up to the most recently aired episode. This also goes under the assumption that you have watched all previous seasons of 24 in their entirety.

Most recently aired episode: 24 Heaven is a UK-based site and as a result, the website will be in accordance with UK broadcasting schedules. The airdate in the UK (whilst yet to be confirmed for season 8) is usually one week after it airs in the US. Therefore, visitors in the US will have to wait an extra week for episode guides to appear, meaning that the website will effectively always been one episode out-of-date for the duration of the season; as when an episodes premieres for the first time in the UK, the next episode after it is being aired in the US.

Below is a summary of each section of the website, what they contain and how to ensure you avoid those dreaded spoilers:

NEWS – You will not find news stories that give away yet-to-be aired storylines, and anything containing potential sensitive material will come with a prior warning. If you are browsing through the news archive, you will need to apply your own logic. For example, if you see the news heading ‘Season 7 Trailer’ and you don’t want any insight into the happenings of that particular season, then you shouldn’t click on it. Common sense… but it needs to be said!

CHARACTERS – Characters that have their own profiles contain four different elements – quotes, trivia, videos and wallpapers. All of these have the potential to ‘spoil’ you if you are not-up-to date with 24; as these can contain material from multiple seasons. Therefore, if you are up-to-date with 24, this will be fine for you to view, however if you are not, you should probably stay away until you are.

EPISODES – Probably the most straightforward of all 24 Heaven’s sections – if you don’t want to know about episodes from a certain season, simply don’t click on that season and stick to the ones that you have seen. Episode guides enable you to refresh your memory of individual episodes by viewing a summary of it as well as quotes and interesting bits of trivia from that episode.

QUOTES – Much like the episodes section, simply stick to the seasons you have seen. Quotes from episodes or seasons that you may not have seen do not necessarily give away spoilers of course, but you probably don’t want to take that risk. Quotes featured among the random quotes feature have been carefully chosen so that whilst you may not have seen the episodes they have come from, they do not give anything away in terms of storylines.

TRIVIA – There is a general trivia section where you can find out interesting facts about the show without fear of coming across a spoiler. Information featured in the general section is nothing to do with storylines and is therefore safe to view. The trivia sections relative to each season however contain trivia concerning those particular seasons and as a result you should steer clear of any seasons that you have not seen all the way through. The random pieces of trivia that appear in the right-hand side panel on the trvia index page only consist of material from the general trivia section, and is therefore spoiler-free.

TOP 24 MOMENTSTop 24 Moments is undoubtedly the most sensitive part of the site in terms of potentially spoiling you if you are not up-to-date with 24. You should simply stay away from the seasons that you have not seen in its entirety as the moments featured here are some of the most memorable, shocking and dramatic; which means that coming across them in advance will reduce your shock-factor / enjoyment. You are of course free to enjoy reliving the best moments from seasons that you have seen.

MULTIMEDIA – Video clips are liable to contain clips from one or multiple seasons, or consist of discussion about them. The video selection screen itself is safe to browse through, as the titles or video preview pictures will not give anything away. Read the video descriptions to decide whether you would like to view the particular video and determine whether it is ‘safe’.

As for wallpapers, any designs that contain material that could potentially reveal certain events, scenes or storylines are masked with a warning message. The message will state which season the wallpaper relates to and can be previewed by rolling your cursor over the image if you determine that it is safe for you to do so. For further details, see the right panel of the wallpapers index.

LINKS24 Heaven fully endorses its affiliates and partners, but cannot guarantee the absence of spoilers on these websites.

This is all assuming that you are indeed concerned about coming across spoilers. If you are not, then you can browse the site to your heart’s content.

Just because the measures are in place to prevent people from being ‘spoiled’ doesn’t mean you won’t be able to find what you’re looking for.

However...

24 Heaven will under no circumstances post revealing information about seasons or episodes before they have aired.

The only possible exception to this rule is the posting of trailers that preview an upcoming season. Although, of course, whether or not you view such a trailer is entirely up to you. In the event that you do opt to watch trailers for upcoming seasons, it would suggest that you are open to any potential storyline insights into the upcoming season or that you are unconcerned by viewing it due to the fact that you are fully up-to-date.
