Kevin Carroll approaches the limousine containing Jack and the dead Ted Cofell. The unsuspecting Carroll sees the back of Cofell’s head through the rear window and proceeds to apologise for being late as he enters the vehicle. Upon closing the limousine door, Jack initiates the door locks prompting Carroll to glance at the dead Cofell beside him and discover Jack in the driver’s seat.
Jack: Hello, Alan. Or is it Kevin?
Jack turns around to face him and asks where Teri is. Carroll pulls out his gun and fires seven shots, exhausting his clip of ammunition. Fully aware of the bulletproof glass that divides them, Jack doesn’t even flinch as the shots come his way. Jack then turns on the engine and reverses the vehicle down an aisle of the multi-storey car park as Carroll attempts to reload his weapon. Jack continues to manoeuvre the limo around the car park at high speed causing Carroll to be thrown about from one side to the other. Jack goes on to build up speed in a straight line before braking sharply, causing Carroll to be thrown forward into the bulletproof glass and be knocked unconscious.
Later, when Carroll regains consciousness, they come to an agreement that will see Carroll released if he leads Jack to his family, and he finds them to be safe and well.
